Since its creation in 1947 by René-Louis Dupuy, Dupuy Avocats has experienced changes that are inherent to the law market. After operating as a general services law firm, it became specialised in employment law, a field that began expanding in the 1970s. It is in 1979 that Anne-Marie Dupuy, who trained in Paris and London, began to develop the firm’s employment law activities, by providing counsel to long-standing clients (BNP, Citroën-PSA, UAP) then to other renowned companies. In the early 2000s, the firm opened up to new methods such as mediation, hinged on a modern, optimised internal organisation, worthy of the largest law firms in the market. This development was validated upon obtaining ISO 9001 certification in 2004. In 2007, the firm initiated its generational transition with the arrival of Pierre Safar, who later became partner alongside Anne-Marie Dupuy in 2010. In 2012, he was joined by Florence du Gardier, who built her practice at CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre. In the past few years, the firm has grown its client base and doubled the size of its team, which is now comprised of three partners backed by 8 senior associates.
